Marlo Bright is the work of Madison, WI resident and student Vlad Pokatayev. Born in Minsk, Belarus, Pokatayev immigrated to the United States at the age of five and settled in Milwaukee, WI. After attending school in the suburbs, Pokatayev moved to Madison to continue his studies. Marlo Bright is centered on manipulated instrument recordings with interspersed minimal percussion. |
